Black Knight the South Korean apocalyptic series some consider to be better than The Walking Dead

Since its debut back in 2010, The Walking Dead was crowned as the best apocalypse and zombies series to ever be made. The show reached its culmination in 2022, after having a long-lasting, successful run for twelve years. Once the series came to an end, they left a gap in the market that Netflix quickly took advantage of with another show. This time we are going to be talking about “Black Knight,” which part of the audience considers to be better than The Walking Dead.

Black Knight is a South Korean series, set in the year 2071 on a planet that is totally mired in chaos and pollution. These are going to be the two main themes for humans in the series, as they must wear masks to be able to breathe outside. Thanks to this intriguing premise, the show has become the talk of the town for series lovers!

This show tells the story of the legendary delivery driver 5-8, who has extensive experience in the battlefield. In addition, a little kid is also portrayed in the show, and he dreams to be like the legendary driver when he grows up.

In Black Knight, only a small population percentage was able to survive the apocalypse, and remaining humans are settled in specific places in the desert of the Korean peninsula to remain protected. The only way to survive is with help from certain characters, named delivery drivers, who play a key role for regular humans in the series.

At the moment, the show only has one season but has already been considered as one of the best apocalypse series, even surpassing the 12-year-old classic The Walking Dead. However, it might be too soon to count out the American series, as only time and popularity are going to tell if “Black Knight” will remain at the top spot.
