‘Poor Things’ is the new film by Emma Stone that has dethroned ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’

The new film by the famous actress Emma Stone titled ‘Poor Things‘, even before its official release in theaters, this production has already dethroned ‘Barbie‘ and ‘Oppenheimer‘, which have dominated the industry with their success, however everything seems to indicate that their reign is over.

The film directed by the Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos ‘Poor Things’, which is sweeping professional critics, is an adaptation of the homonymous novel by Alasdair Gray, which has given film experts much to talk about, praising this new production.

The cast that this film has, from the leading role with Emma Stone, followed by other characters played by the renowned Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo, has been one of the important factors for this new installment  surpassed different productions of this year debuting with a perfect rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Among the films that have dethroned the next release are ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer’, which although they garnered critical acclaim, these do not compare to the enthusiasm with which ‘Poor Thing’ is currently receiving them, which many assures it is impeccable.

The new film starring Emma Stone is expected to premiere in European theaters on September 8th, while it could arrive in North American theaters on the 20th of the same month. Read the synopsis below:

The incredible story and fantastic evolution of Bella Baxter, a young woman who is brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter. Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness that is missing from her, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn, a shrewd and debauched lawyer, on a breakneck adventure across continents“.
