‘House of the Dragon‘, one of the most acclaimed series of the moment, is at its peak of popularity, surpassing the famous installment of ‘Game of Thrones‘, although the first part achieved an eminent success, the second season in process would have some factors that could spoil the story.
The production of the second season is advanced, it has many of the scenes already filmed and it is presumed that its premiere date will be at the end of the year 2024, however ‘House of the Dragon’ is facing some problems that have not yet been resolved and they would be seriously harming the story, which makes it an obstacle for recording.
Rhaenyra Targaryen claimed the iron throne after the death of her father, after that she was challenged by her younger half-brother, Aegon, unleashing the civil war known as the “dance of the Dragons“, and that is where the problem comes in, as described in the book by George R.R. Martin, the young boy is only 3 years old, so he would be too young to participate in the event.
The prequel for ‘Game of Thrones’ produced by HBO is based on the book published in 2018 written by George R. R. Martin titled ‘Fire and Blood‘, however, some fans have accepted the sad reality that not all the iconic events of the novel can be seen in the series, because they changed Aegon’s age to make some scenes easier.
During the first installment there was no immediate problem with the age change, but later the development of the story would be affected, since the production will have to adjust or delay some events, for example the Aegon’s first dragon flight, since due to his young age the idea of piloting a beast would be far from reality
