Emilia Clarke was not the top choice for Daenerys Targaryen on ‘Game of Thrones’

Already a few years after the end of one of the world’s most beloved series, it has come to light that Max’s famous series, Game Of Thrones, might have been much different than what we expected, as you would imagine Daenerys Targaryen played as someone other than Emilia Clarke?

And it is that recently has been revealed more information about that important film, which highlights the fact that Emilia Clarke was not the first choice to take the role that would have changed her life forever.

Tamzin Merchant known for her role in Carnival Row, was the actress who was ahead of Emilia to play Daenerys Targaryen, in fact, she had the opportunity to wear the white wig of Khalessi and shoot some pilot episodes, or key scenes of the first season of Game of Thrones, such as the wedding with Khal Drogo and the horrible intimate encounter they had.

However, it is still not known for sure what happened with Tamzim and the fact that she was rejected for the role, although one of the representatives of the franchise revealed in the book “Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon”, that simply the scenes between Jason Momoa and her did not work. Something that did not happen with Emilia Clarke, that even the same interpreter of Drogo expressed that, “when Emilia arrived everything clicked for him and they could act naturally”.
