Studio Ghibli has premiered some of the most critically acclaimed movies, such as “Spirited Away.” This film marked the anime genre due to its magnetizing plot and, of course, its great animation and aesthetics. Also, it is no secret that part of the charm of the Japan-based studio is its dark approach to some of its characters, who tend to look a little bit disturbing at first sight.

This aspect has been well-received by people who are into horror movies. As a result, this part of the audience has decided to use artificial intelligence to recreate a possible live-action for Spirited Away. The results speak for themselves, as the AI was able to generate some really spooky characters.

“Spirited Away” has been the only movie in the anime genre to ever receive an Oscar. According to critics, it is one of the best movies in the animation genre to ever be created in the world. In addition, it is also one of the few films that has been able to get a soft spot in some hearts in the audience. Still, Spirited Away does have some characters that could look a little scary after observing them for some time.

The artificial intelligence re-made some of the most iconic characters in the Japanese film, which caused different reactions from fans. One of the most bizarre ones is probably the picture that shows the gods in the hot springs. The AI gave them gigantic eyes and a spooky aspect that could probably scare some kids at night!

The most iconic character is probably the “No-Face,” which is the first one that shows up in the movie to help Chihiro in her journey around the fantasy world in the movie. This character also has the ability to transform itself into whoever it devours. In these pictures, the AI gave the No-Face a massive size with disproportionated eyes, mouth, and teeth.
