Miss Universe owner faces millions of dollars in debts and could go bankrupt
Miss Universe is about to arrive and that would generate much more controversy, since the closer we are to the pageant, the more news come to light and with that, all the dramas that are around it.
Miss Universe is one of the most important events worldwide, as many talented and beautiful women gather in a single space ready to compete for the most famous title. Now, the owner of the event is facing a millionaire debt that could make her go bankrupt.
According to what was reported by the Thai portal Bangkok Post, the company JKN Global Group has a debt exceeding $102 million dollars, and for which it had to make a payment exceeding $17 million. However, this did not happen.
The owner of the Miss Universe organization, tycoon Anne Jakrajutatip, is facing millions of dollars in debts that could make her go bankrupt as her company JKN Global Group has requested more time to pay loans that are full of multiple interests.
Anne Jakrajutatip is reportedly facing numerous difficulties in raising funds with her company and the Miss Universe organization.
Following that delay, shares of JKN Global Group (JKN) plummeted after the tycoon said she would not pay 609 million baht (Thai currency) in interest, which was to be the “first of seven tranches of debt worth 3.36 billion baht,” the newspaper reported, about the company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
