Prince Harry took Meghan Markle to his mother’s grave.
When they were young, Prince Harry and his brother William lived one of the most intense moments that any person could go through, after a terrible accident their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away leaving the two little ones.
Since the terrible accident, Prince Harry has always had quite present the memory of his mother and honors her respect every time he can, a tradition that he would be sharing also with his family, as Prince Harry remembers to take Meghan Markle to Princess Diana’s grave on the anniversary of her death.
In the memoir Spare, the duke described what it was like to take Meghan to her mother’s grave, which is in a very distant place and out of reach of anyone. There he expressed that it was his uncle, Charles Spencer, who motivated him to take a boat to the island where the tomb is located in a place known as The Round Oval.
“No visit to this spot was ever very easy, but this was on her twenty-fifth birthday, and it was the first time I had ever taken Meg. I could finally bring home the baby of my dreams to meet my mom,” the Duke described.
After that as expressed “We hugged, I laid flowers and Meg gave me a moment to talk to my mom mentally, I asked her for guidance and clarity, and feeling that she wanted that moment too I gave her the space. Then I came back and she was kneeling and her eyes were closed and her hands were against the stones.”
