Hyunjin of Stray Kids and Troye Sivan were first spotted at La Vacanza, which was a collaboration between Dua Lipa and Versace. During this event, both the South Korean idol and the Australian singer started interacting because they were sitting down at the same table. As a result, the super-stars got to know each other and built a relationship since then.
Fortunately, their friendly relationship has been going pretty well, and because of this both the 23-year-old K-pop idol and the 28-year-old performer made an announcement that hyped their fandoms. It turns out that the pair joined forces to release the remix of “Rush,” which was originally sung by Troye Sivan alone. The track was released on September 1 and it also features vocals by TikTok sensation PinkPantheress.
It appears to be that the Stray Kids member has always been a huge Troye Sivan fan. Reportedly, when he was a trainee he would sing his songs to get inspiration and keep moving on with his own career. That is why Stray Kids fans, also known as STAY, were also extremely hyped to know that their idol got the chance to be featured on a track with Troye Sivan.
This can be corroborated during a livestream Hyunjin made. The “CASE 143” rapper broke the silence about his feelings for Troye Sivan. He expressed he was fascinated after communicating to create the “Rush” remix. He also affirmed that he felt very happy to get to know the “Bloom” singer in person at the beginning of this summer and said he is very grateful to have a good friendship and a working relationship with the Australian singer.
