British royals asked to change several of Meghan Markle’s lines in ‘Suits’ series
Many times people do not imagine the great power that the British royals have and everything they would be willing to do in order to maintain the image they have always wanted to project, even getting into entertainment issues.
When Meghan Markle joined the royal family she had to forget about her career as an actress, who would have appeared in the series Suits, but once she was integrated into the palace, the royals would have asked to change phrases that Meghan Markle would have said during the series and this has been confirmed by none other than the creator himself.
In an interview with ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, Aaron Korsh, creator of the series ‘Suits’, has confirmed that the British royal family intervened to change script lines to be pronounced by the Duchess of Sussex in the last seasons in which she appeared in the series.
Recall that Prince Harry in his book touched on this very topic, indicating that it would have been a very difficult time for his wife as she really loved being part of the hit series.
“Meghan packed up her things from her home in Canada and left her role on Suits after seven seasons. It was a difficult time for her because she loved being on that show, she loved playing her character and the people she worked with,” Harry recounted in his book.
“‘On the other hand, life there had become untenable, especially on the film set. The scriptwriters were frustrated because they were often advised by the communications team at Buckingham Palace to change lines of dialogue, what their character should do, how they should act.”
