Netflix’s “One Piece” has broken the curse of ‘live action’ anime
Many people were upset with the news of the arrival of a Live Action series of one of the most famous anime in history, which is One Piece.
Netflix has done it again and would have gotten it right with a series that is a Live Action adaptation of One Piece. It is not the first time that the platform does something related to the anime universe, which would not have been successful and would have many critics, but now One Piece would have broken that curse.
And so it has been demonstrated this August 31, the day the series of the king of pirates premiered, evidencing a large number of reproductions in its first hours of transmission.
Fans of the series noted that, although they are not exactly the same, since it would be physically impossible due to the animation of the anime characters, the performers were quite close to the original personalities, leaving a good review of the cast, as the same creator of the manga, Eiichirō Oda, who said that the actor Iñaki Godoy, star of the series, was made to play Luffy D. Monkey.
The series has caused great impact worldwide also because of the kind of marketing that the platform has had. A few days ago in Mexico City alone, there was a big event with content creators and a space completely adapted to the One Piece universe.
