Netflix once again suffers a big hit in its subscription rate
Netflix has changed its policies as well as prices several times, with business decisions that would put them at risk, as, apparently, many people do not agree with the rates as well as regulations, causing a large number of users to leave.
A few months ago, the news went viral that Netflix would be charging extra for TV, making many accounts extremely affected, but now, another huge wave of users who have not joined the platform, canceling subscriptions or not renewing, has happened.
It recently presented a drop in the number of subscriptions in one of the countries that registers more users annually, Spain, where it has already implemented the measures that had been previously announced to eliminate shared accounts on the platform.
Previously, it was possible for several people from different addresses to enjoy the service by paying a single subscription, the new measures limit the sharing of an account among several users, which led hundreds of thousands of users to withdraw due to their dissatisfaction.
If we take into account that last June Netflix applied these new conditions in Australia, and this registered the alarming figure of more than 200,000 cancelled subscriptions, it could be concluded that, definitely, this methodology of the platform to prohibit users to share their accounts could start the great decline of Netflix’s popularity.
What do you think of these changes? Do you still have a Netflix subscription or have you gone with the competition?
