Gran Turismo’ becomes the most successful movie in theaters today
It seems that the Barbie fever lasted less than people expected and now all the attention is going directly to cars and video games, since, after weeks of release, another movie has arrived and is taking people’s attention.
Gran Turismo was released and people were not ready for the impact it would quickly have, as just a few days later, the movie became the most successful movie currently beating Barbie as the most successful movie for weeks.
“Gran Turismo” tells the real life story of Jann Mardenborough, who through his love for video games, manages to become a professional high-speed car racer, an amazing story of overcoming that now reaches the hearts of fans who have made the film the number one in the United States since last August 24.
The film has had a great reception since it talks about a completely incredible fact that would be completely inspiring for many young people and above all, for a generation like the one we are living now.
Despite becoming one of the most successful movies “Gran Turismo” is not a blockbuster that invested a lot of money for its production as did, Oppenheimer, Barbie or Blue Beetle, on the contrary, with just 60 million dollars it was able to collect all the money invested to date, and it is expected to double in the following weeks, completely surpassing the Mattel doll.
The movie has not surpassed Barbie at the box office and it is doubtful that it will, but this week has been the most relevant.
