Game of Thrones: Jon Snow’s Spin-off would be completely ruled out

After the great success of the series ‘Game Of Thrones‘, the production was planning to launch a spin-off of the character Jon Snow, played by actor Kit Harrington, however after HBO MAX faced some problems in its realization this series would be completely ruled out.

Due to the great impact of this original series ‘Game Of Thrones’, many followers were left wanting to see more productions from this world in the medieval era, so the possibility of a spin-off where the life of this acclaimed character, Jon Snow, is told has been discussed.

Some time ago, in an interview with Deadline, the division head behind the HBO series, Francesca Orsi, shared and assured that the streaming service was indeed planning to create a script for this long-awaited spin-off.

“Yes, there are development plans up to that point, but it is still debatable to think of them as candidates to be produced and in the future become new series. However, we are giving ourselves the task of investigating different worlds in the canon and work of George. We don’t have many scripts yet, so it’s too early to talk about them. The writers have been talked to to get it in shape before giving the green light, but so far it hasn’t been determined if it will be done or not“, she revealed.

However, recent rumors indicate that due to the Hollywood writers’ strike, HBO has scrapped all of these ‘Game Of Thrones’ related projects. In addition, this situation made the producer’s contract with the creator of this saga, George R.R. Martin, be revoked.

Therefore, the long-awaited Jon Snow spin-off would be being discarded by the producer, and at least until now we will not be able to see what will proceed in the history of this famous series of the medieval era.
