In this adaptation of ‘One Piece’, both the directors and the actors have shown to be very grateful to the creator of the famous story, because he has been so involved in the production that they even consulted with him on some scenes in order to be as close as possible to the original story.
Just a few days after its premiere, the mangaka sent a sincere letter to Natflix, which today has been shared on social networks. Through that writing, Eiichiro made it very clear to everyone that if he did not like this project, he would say so since he would not lose the trust of his followers for a company.
“To Netflix:
– We need to consider the worst-case scenario.
– I can’t say something is good when it isn’t.
– This is very good, but we can do even better.
–The fans trust me. So I can’t lie to them.
– We actually found our real-life Luffy. I’m shocked.
– I’m touched by the love of ONE PIECE sprinkled through out every frame.
