Meghan Markle turned down a request from Prince Harry to pay tribute to her mother.
When someone thinks of the British crown, the first thing that quickly comes to mind is Princess Diana who quickly won the hearts of all the people and the world and is still remembered even by people outside her family circle, especially by her youngest son Prince Harry.
Apparently his wife Meghan Markle would have rejected an important request made by Prince Harry of the United Kingdom to pay tribute to his mother Princess Diana of Wales.
When it was announced in 2021 that the couple was expecting a baby quickly the media and the public expected to pay tribute to the mother of Prince Harry, however according to sources close to the couple Meghan did not agree at all with the name proposed by her husband rejecting the request that the first name of their daughter was Diana.
In the end, the baby came into this world under the name of ‘Lilibeth Diana’. The most the American actress could do was to give her the middle name of the people’s princess, despite the wishes of her husband and much of the public.
Apparently Meghan would have taken this decision because she did not want to have the name of her husband’s mother at the beginning of her daughter’s name, making the British media quickly showed their annoyance as well as other people indicating that it was out of respect for the royal family and for the terrible end that the beloved princess had.
