In recent days, the Korean Institute for Business Research finally shared what many K-Pop fans have been waiting for, the brand reputation rankings, surprising many with their results this month.
These rankings took various factors into account and were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness rates of more than 700 male K-Pop artists, using data from between July 19th of last year, until August 19th of this year.
BTS‘ Jungkook was thrilled to top the ranking again with a brand reputation index of 6,992,686, showing a growth of 50.79% compared to July. Next to his tag, the most searched words were ‘Seven‘, ‘Billboard‘ and ‘Spotify‘. In addition, the idol’s positivity-negativity analysis had 93.08% positive reactions.
BTS‘ Jimin ranked second with a brand reputation index of 4,429,960, increasing 5.11% from last month. In third place is ASTRO‘s Cha Eun Woo, who register 120.68% increase in her brand reputation index to 4,120,171 points.
In fourth place, BTS‘s V was positioned with a brand reputation index of 3,909,040, evidencing an increase of 55.96%. Finishing the Top 5 of the ranking is Wanna One‘s Kang Daniel, who earned a score of 3,598,242.
