The reason why Park Seo Joon from ‘Itaewon Class’ won’t do more romantic K-Dramas

The renowned actor Park Seo Joon has earned the appreciation of the public on different streaming platforms thanks to his incredible talent and the great roles he has played throughout his career, however he recently surprised by revealing that he won’t do more romantic K-Dramas.

The South Korean actor became known for roles in series such as ‘Itaewon Class‘, ‘Parasite‘, ‘Dream‘, among others, creating a long history of productions in his career, however it seems that we will not see him again in a romantic K-Drama according to his own words. Find the reason behind this decision.

In the promotions of his most recent project entitled ‘Concrete Utopia‘, in which he works with actress Park Bo Young, the actor was in an interview when he confessed to his fans that he could not participate in a series of the romantic genre for a while.

So far, I’ve already done a lot of romantic comedies, so I’m starting to want to try another genres“, said Park Seo Joon.

Of course, I like romantic comedies and I think that this is the most challenging genre of all, I’m not saying that I didn’t want to do romantic series, but my desire to try something different now is much bigger“, he added.

This is sad news for the actor’s followers who, when they think of a romantic comedy K-Drama, Park Seo Joon goes through their minds, being one of the actors who played the most iconic and famous roles in this genre.
