In recent days, King Charles III, current monarch of the United Kingdom, confirmed that he will make some changes and appointments within the British Crown, with which he has dealt a hard blow to his youngest son, Prince Harry, precisely where he hurts the most, his military honors.
The announcement of these new changes was made through a statement from Buckingham Palace last Thursday, August 10th, where it was revealed that several of its members would receive new titles from the King:
“Following Her Majesty’s Ascension, the King is pleased to announce new military appointments for the Working Members of the Royal Family. The new appointments will continue to reflect the close relationship between the Armed Forces and the Royal Family during His Majesty’s reign“.
What caught the most attention was that Prince William received two titles that previously belonged to his brother Prince Harry, these were Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps and Royal Honorary Commodore of RAF Valley.
According to British media, King Charles II has decided to strip his youngest son of his royal duties due to the situation of the crown, taking away his military achievements, which are far superior to those of the Prince of Wales, this being one of the reasons for which many believe that he does not deserve the new titles.
