After it was reported the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no be longer treated as “His and Her Royal Highness” the British media started to speculate King Charles III wants to keep his distance from Meghan Markle once and for all.

The last time King Charles III and the Duchess of Sussex interacted was at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022, and they had a short exchange of words. On the same line, several media outlets stated Meghan’s low acceptance by the British people and monarchy was the harsh critics towards the royal family on multiple occasions, and they might never reconcile again.
