BLACKPINK responds to rumors of disbandment after their contract expired

Renowned girl group BLACKPINK has been involved in various disband rumors, following the expiration of their contract with their agency YG Entertainment. However, due to the debut anniversary, the members have given statements that have responded to these speculations.

In the last few days, the seventh anniversary of the K-Pop group was celebrated, the day in which the members took the time to thank their fans for all their support over the years. In addition, they took it upon themselves to clarify the rumors of separation, stating that they will continue together for many more years.

Among the statements of the artists on August 8th, the day they celebrate their anniversary and their contract with the renowned agency expires are:

“I know it’s the 7th anniversary but I’m more excited for our 8th anniversary because our debut is on 8/8“, Jisoo said in her live confirming that they will stay together for the next year and a long time and that the rumors are false.

On the other hand, in addition to the rumors of separation, speculation also arose that Lisa would be the only one who would not renew a contract with the agency because of having better offers, however this also turned out to be false.
