Shirtless Andrew Garfield spotted on all-men yacht sparks sexuality rumors

British Spiderman actor Andrew Garfield is currently on vacation in Italy to celebrate his 40th birthday with friends and family. During the trip, the actor went on a yacht with all men company. The paparazzi were able to get photos of the actor yacht that appeared suggestive of intimate encounters, and the actor’s sexuality was put in doubt.

The actor came to fame after playing Eduardo Saverin in the 2010 biopic The Social Network, which got him the critics recognition. Right after, he played the iconic Spiderman in the 2012 and 2014 movies, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro, role that made him a household name in the industry, and that he reprised in two other Spiderman movies in 2021 and 2023.

During his long career, his sexuality was never doubted as he publicly dated his costar Emma Stone and was rumored to be dating British singer Rita Ora. Matter of fact, he has spoken publicly about his sexuality and confirmed that he identifies as heterosexual, though also claimed to be an ally of the LGBT community. Moreover, according to The Independent newspaper, in 2013, the actor considered the possibility of portraying Spiderman as bisexual.

However, despite being confirmed to be dating British actress Phoebe Dynevor since 2022, some internet users are now starting to wonder around the possibility of him not being strictly heterosexual after seeing him on a yacht with no women and in a compromising position with another man.

The pictures went viral on social media rather quickly, and fans jokingly admitted that the picture was but a bad shot of the actor getting sunscreen applied on his back, while other went the extra mile and suggested that the picture was a snippet of what was going on in the yacht, hinting that the actor engages in homosexual encounters.
