The MV of “Pink Venom,” the song from “BORN PINK,” the second full-length album of KPOP girl group BLACKPINK, has surpassed 700 million views on YouTube, its representative agency YG Entertainment announced this weekend.
The music video, released on August 19 last year, surpassed 700 million views this weekend, reaching the milestone 350 days after its release, less than a year later. MV of “Pink Venom” surpassed 90.4 million views on YouTube just 24 hours after its release, setting a world all-time record for a female artist.
It also surpassed 100 million views on the same platform in just 29 hours and 35 minutes after its release, marking the shortest time ever for a music video by a female KPOP group to reach that milestone.
“Pink Venom” is a song in the hiphop music genre, featuring an energetic beat with sounds of traditional Korean instruments. In other news related to the group, the pre-sale of the original soundtrack package (B.S.O.) of the mobile video game “BLACKPINK THE GAME” has already begun.
“THE GIRLS,” the B.S.O. of the video game “BLACKPINK THE GAME,” which will be characterized by its impressive and rhythmic sound, is a song about an independent and brave life, according to reports.
