Currently, it is not known for sure if the members of the girl group BLACKPINK will renew the contract with their agency YG Entertainment leaving their fans very worried. However, several experts have discussed the huge sum of money that they would obtain by signing this new contract.

According to experts, at the moment the investors of the renowned agency are pressuring the executives to expedite the renewal of contracts with the members of BLACKPINK, however until now the company has not made any announcement in this regard.

In addition, they have assured that it is not feasible for the agency that the girls refuse to renew their contract, which expires on August 8th of this year. With the passage of time, speculation grows about what could happen, and among these, the initial payment that each of the members would receive, approximately 1.16 million dollars, has also been rumored.

Although it is common for the agencies behind K-Pop groups to keep 60% or 80% of the rights and profits, everything seems to indicate that this will not happen with BLACKPINK when renewing with their agency, because in their new contract, it is possible that they are the ones who keep more of what they generate and the agency the rest.

This change is due to the fact that the agency will give the recognition that the worldwide fame of the girls and their large number of sales deserve. Now, in the middle of these rumors, a YG official has publicly stated that they are waiting for the idols’ response between the end of August and the beginning of September, when they will finish their world tour.
