Nicolas Cage has earned his spot on the actor’s A-list in Hollywood for his hard work in the acting industry. However, he showed himself surprised in his cameo in ‘The Flash’ embodying Superman.
Nicolas Cage’s role as Superman brought him numerous problems due to a canceled project where he was set to star. Since ‘The Flash’ was premiered, DC’s fans wondered if Cage really did shoot personally the scene he appeared in.
Andy Muschietti, the Director of the movie, took the decision of including Nicolas’ role as Superman at almost the end of the movie when Flash is in front of the flux of the multiverse watching different realities. However, Nicolas seemed surprised with his cameo in the movie, because is a clear reference to Superman Lives, a movie that wasn’t produced because of numerous difficulties back in 1998, and he had a second chance on The Flash movie to star as Superman.
Nicolas Cage had a conversation with USA Today and commented he is glad he made it into the movie with a character he wanted to do since the cancelation of his movie. “Finally seeing it on screen, was satisfying. But as I said, it’s quick. If you really wanted to know what I was going do with that character, look at my performance in “City of Angels.” the actor stated.
