“I’m lucky to be alive”: Madonna speaks out on her sudden fainting

Madonna has spoken out about the polemic incident where she was found lying on the floor unconscious, the “Like A Virgin” singer talked about what happened that night, she also wanted to publicly thank all her friends, fans and family who supporter her during those difficult times in the hospital due to the serious bacterial infection.

Through her social networks, the world-class singer has shared an emotional message in which she assures that she was very lucky to be alive, after the lethal bacterial infection she had last month, “When the chips were down my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference.
So did the love and support from my friends”, said the 64-year-old artist.

She also informed her followers about her current state of health and affirmed that she is still “recovering“, the artist’s fans continued to support her through her social networks, it is important to remember that the singer had planned a seven-month world tour, which was supposed to start in the next few weeks, but due to her delicate state of health, it was suspended.

Her current manager, Guy Oseary, was the person who notified the emergency room upon encountering the singer unconscious. While she was hospitalized, Oseary sent her a detail of a photograph with the portrait of Michael Jackson stamped on it, the singer shared the gift from her manager on her networks and added. “I shed tears when I opened the gift, because I really realized that I’m lucky to be alive“.
