Meghan Markle has been the talk of the town since she moved to the United States with Prince Harry back in 2020. However, things might be changing for the better after many rumors stated Meghan would be starring ‘Suits’ again.
The increasing rumors caught Suits executive producers’ attention, which surprised the fans of the acclaimed series. Despite the fact Suits ended in 2019, the show might be having a return after the good reception it had on Netflix and Peacock
According to Hollywood Reporter, ‘Suits’ had 3.140 million watching minutes, which sparked a great interest about bringing back the series for a new season and the possibility of having the Duchess of Sussex as part of the cast. Regarding this, Gene Klein, one of the executive producers, addressed the rumors during a conversation with TVLine.
“I’m not aware of any serious conversations. It’s just one of those things where, in this day and age, you wouldn’t be surprised if somebody called you someday. But so far, nothing that I’m aware of. I’d be surprised if we could thread that needle for a reunion, but I’d also be delighted if that happened because [when] you do a show for that long, everybody becomes such a good friend.”
In addition, Aaron Korsh, ‘Suits’ creator, highlighted the popularity her show is having because of their immersion into the streaming apps and Meghan Markle’s latest controversies. He stated that her return to the show is highly unlikely. Also, Klein commented on the rumor that: “I would assume that’s just not possible.” So this made possibilities even lower for having Meghan staring once again in the series.
