“Seven,” the first solo single of KPOP group BTS member Jungkook, has charted on the “British Official Singles Chart” for a second consecutive week, according to the latest chart released in the last week of July, surprising as it is a KPOP genre song.
The song ranked 13th on the chart, a drop of 10 spots from the previous week, but still stable, remaining among the most successful songs in the European country. Although this is not the first time Jungkook has charted in the United Kingdom, having previously charted with BTS.

It also topped, for the second week in a row, the “Weekly Top Global Song” list on the world’s largest music streaming platform Spotify, as well as the “Daily Top Global Song” list for the 14th consecutive week.
Released on July 14th, “Seven,” a summer song, featuring a collaboration with the United States rapper Latto, debuted at the top of the “Hot 100,” U.S. music magazine Billboard‘s main singles chart, earlier this week.
In the latest UK chart, KPOP girl group NewJeans ranked 52nd on the same chart, with their new single, “Super Shy,” remaining on the chart for the third consecutive week. What is most surprising is that both the group and the idol are from the same label, HYBE. You can watch “SEVEN” MV down below:
