Awkward moment between Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu at ‘Barbie’ premiere

The attention and fervor for the premiere of the “Barbie” movie recently got two of the movie’s actors, Ryan Gosling and Simu Liu, to experience a awkward moment that was captured on social media.

The two actors who star as the “Ken’s” in the movie, were together at one of the premieres of the Barbie movie that took place in Toronto, Canada. There you can see that not everything in the movie was rosy, as these two actors went through a tense moment that many people noticed.

The awkward moment occurred when the two actors had to share together in order to take a picture. However, at the moment of posing Simu Liu wanted to grab his set mate Ryan Gosling by the waist, however, he told him to please stay away.

“Don’t grab me from there, I mean, would you like me to touch you like that?” expressed Ryan and immediately Simu replied “Oh, I understand, it’s really too close, I understand“. Although it all seemed to be a joke scene, they made it so real and awkward that after that the Chinese-Canadian actor had to explain the good relationship he has with the original Ken.

In a picture he posted on Instagram the actor commented, “I would go to the beach with this Kenedian without hesitation. He’s a great person in every way, especially when he jokes with us on red carpets or during shoots, he infects us all with his Kenergy“.
