The stuntman who replaces Harrison Ford in the most dangerous scenes, has set himself on fire in the midst of the strikes that currently plague the film industry in Hollywood, it seems that he was determined to support his fellow actors in their struggle against the big executives of the productions, and what better way to do this than putting his life in danger.
The strikes of the screenwriters are far from over, and now, with the union of the actors’ syndicate, the protesters are seeking new working conditions, fair and flexible, and several renowned actors have already spoken out about it, giving their full support to the protesters, who only seek to have a little more recognition for their hard work. But even so, neither side has been able to reach an agreement, after several attempts at negotiation.
The strikes and protests become more aggressive by the minute, and amid the already heated atmosphere, in the best Hollywood style, Harrison Ford’s stunt double, who replaced the actor in several dangerous scenes of his last Indiana Jones movie, joined the protests, and he did it in the flashiest way, by setting himself on fire and immediately beginning to chant with his fist raised with the union sign.
We are talking about Mike Massa, a German stuntman and stunt coordinator, recognized for his excellent work in ‘Star Trek‘ and in several installments of Indiana Jones, the stuntman did not hesitate to support the interests of his colleagues in the protests, so he set himself on fire.
