The famous actor Ryan Gosling, who has gained worldwide media attention in recent times for his new project ‘Barbie‘, has become a topic of discussion on the networks for being inspired by a look from a BTS member for an outfit of his character in this movie.
The long-awaited movie from the Mattel doll has finally been released, filling all its fans for this incredible production that has been received with great joy in theaters. In this new production you can see Barbie together with Ken living a new adventure, however between these scenes a look of the doll attracts attention.
In one of the most commented scenes, Ryan is seen wearing a jean outfit very similar to the one Jimin wore in the ‘Permission to Dance‘ music video. Although this might seem like a coincidence, it is believed that it could be a marketing strategy between BTS and Warner Bros., the producer of ‘Barbie’.
In a recent video, Ryan Gosling sent a message to Jimin where he talked about this similarity of outfits and gave the K-Pop idol a guitar as compensation for breaking his Ken code:
“Hi Jimin, I’m Ryan Gosling, I noticed that your outfit in ‘Permission To Dance’ is very similar to my Ken’s outfit in ‘Barbie’, and I have to admit, you were the one who wore it first and it suits you much better, but there is a code among Kens that if you copy someone else’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession, so I hope you will accept the guitar as my humble gift“.
Beyond the fact that it is a marketing strategy, this is a nice gesture that excited fans of ‘Barbie’ and BTS around the world, making this interaction viral.
