BTS’ J-Hope had to go on hiatus after becoming the second member of the boyband to enlist in the South Korean military on April 18, 2023. However, it was recently reported that he is going to re-release his debut album ‘Jack in the Box’ and here’s the reason why.
BTS’ fans, the so-called ARMY, were pleasantly surprised after BigHit Music announced on July 17 that the debut album of the South Korean rapper will be re-released to celebrate its first anniversary. On top of that, they also revealed that this new version is set to release on August 18 and it will include new tracks.
‘Jack in the Box’ was met with a lot of critical acclaim when it was released in 2022 and it successfully launched J-Hope’s career as a solo artist. It can even be said that it opened the doors for other South Korean artists to have a prominent career in the United States.
The ‘HOPE Edition’ will include instrumental versions of the most popular tracks of the album along with three new live recordings from J-Hope’s iconic set at Lollapalooza in 2022. Just like the original album, it is safe to assume that this new edition will be extremely successful.
