Tom Holland has recently revealed to his fans his fears for the next and fourth installment of the successful Spider-Man saga, adding that he leaves the door open to leave his role as the famous superhero and to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
With the various problems that are being experienced in Hollywood due to the strike of actors and screenwriters, Holland increases the tension by sharing his fears for this production. The British actor assured that although a part of him wants to continue giving life to the character, another part wants to walk away and give the opportunity to someone else.
According to what was revealed by the producer Sony, this production of the arachnid hero is on pause due to the protests that are occurring in the film industry, and it is expected that for this reason it will take longer to reach the screens, however the main actor revealed in recent days the fears he feels for this new production.
“There’s a certain stigma attached to the fourth installment of all series. I feel like we hit a home run with our first trilogy and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with our heads held high and pass the baton to the next lucky one who gets to bring this character to life“.
Tom Holland is shown in a position in which he does not want to force anything in his future projects as Spider-Man since he is satisfied with his work and leaves the door open to the possibilities of giving this opportunity to a new actor to take the lead in the saga.
