Currently, Disney is in the midst of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the iconic character Mickey Mouse and his friends who have delighted millions of fans and viewers around the world, becoming an important part of the childhood of many children and adults.
As these celebrations, and taking into account the inclusion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe into Disney, the company has shared a new project in which they unite these two universes and show their iconic characters immersed in the UCM as the famous superheroes, surprising all their fans.
This new initiative of the famous franchises is titled ‘Disney 100 Variant Cover Program‘, in this idea they use the most sold and representative covers of Marvel Comics where the most recognized characters are shown, but now it is Mickey Mouse and his friends who take over the cover and give life to superheroes.
Some media experts on the subject have shared that this project could be a triple tribute because this celebration would be giving entry to the ‘What if…‘ collection, since this dynamic can represent a new Marvel universe, which is a theme that the UCM currently uses in its productions about the multiverse.
