BTS’ RM addresses his sudden hairstyle change, is he enlisting in the military?

BTS’ RM  has always been one of the most popular members of the boy band as he is the leader. However, his sudden hairstyle change created a stir on social media and his fans, the so-called ARMY, are now speculating about his future in BTS amid his possible enlistment in the military.

A few days ago, the South Korean rapper posted a photo on Instagram where his hair was noticeably shorter than usual and which led many of his fans to believe that he was going to start his military service soon. However, he recently went on social media to clear this situation up.

On July 17, RM decided to do a live stream on the popular fan community platform Weverse and finally addressed his new haircut and all the rumors surrounding it. According to him, he only shaved his head to fight the heat and this decision had nothing to do with his eventual enlistment.

After the live stream, the ARMY immediately expressed their relief on social media because RM is not leaving and he just wanted to keep himself cool during the summer. Despite this, it is likely that he will begin his military service in the upcoming months.
