The heartwarming interaction between Kate Middleton and a little fan of the royalty

Kate Middleton is back in the spotlight of the local and international media because of a heartwarming interaction she had with a little boy who was anxious to meet her. The lovely moment took place during the first week of the Wimbledon tournament and it immediately went viral on social media.

On July 4, Marcelito Arévalo could not contain his excitement after he was told he was going to meet a real life princess. According to his mother Lucia, the three-year-old was in a daycare facility waiting for his father Marcelo Arévalo, who is also a professional tennis player, when she she told him that the Princess of Wales was present in the building:

“I told him ‘Marcelito, would you like to meet a princess?’ and he got really excited. At the beginning, I saw a lot of security appear, and I wasn’t sure if it was her or Federer, but it was her. He immediately started saying ‘I want to meet the princess, I want to meet the princess’ and then she appeared.” 

After entering the facility, Kate Middleton noticed the little boy’s excitement and got closer to ask him “What’s your name? Have you had a fun day?” Although their heartwarming interaction was short, it was enough to deeply move people all over the world who also did not hesitate to praise Kate’s humility and crown her as one of the most beloved members of the Royal Family.
