Queen Camilla Parker celebrated her 76th birthday on July 17, a milestone that usually gets a lot of attention inside Buckingham Palace and her first birthday since becoming the Queen of the United Kingdom. However, it looks like her celebration was completely overshadowed by a more popular figure in the Royal Family.
Over the past few days, Kate Middleton has gotten a lot of attention from the local and international media due to her appearances at the Wimbledon Tournament which was held in London from July 3 to July 16. As a result, Camilla Parker’s birthday went completely unnoticed while Kate’s content continued to go viral on social media and stole all the attention.
Following the tradition, Camilla celebrated this important day with her family and, of course, her husband King Charles III. They reportedly had a private party marked by a 41-gun salute fired by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery to commemorate her first birthday since the coronation.
Despite this, Queen Camilla Parker’s birthday received minimal coverage from the media and was relegated to a simple footnote in most newspapers. She is allegedly very upset that her important day did not get the attention that she wanted and that the media preferred to focus on Kate Middleton instead.
