BTS’ Jungkook is currently gaining a lot of attention after the release of ‘Seven’, his debut single as a solo artist, featuring Latto. However, his fans, the so-called ARMY, noticed that he does not appear in the official credits of the song’s music video and demanded that HYBE, his management agency, explain why.
According to Jungkook Global Website, HYBE is allegedly behind the drastic decision of not crediting the South Korean idol for the ‘Seven’ music video. Shortly after noticing this, the ARMY launched a campaign on social media to make sure that Jungkook receives the credits that he deserves.
On top of that, the ARMY pointed out that HYBE has credited other members of BTS in their solo music videos in the past, so their fury and anger is justified. The common sentiment is that Jungkook should receive the same treatment and respect as the rest of his bandmates.
As of today, neither HYBE nor Jungkook have released any statement addressing the situation but it is safe to assume that the ARMY is going to do the impossible to make sure that Jungkook is recognized for his hard work. Watch the music video for ‘Seven’ below:
