Prince George, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s oldest son, has quickly become one of the most popular children of the Royal Family due to his charisma and funny attitude at every royal event. In addition, it is said that he already knows that he will become the King of the United Kingdom in the future.
An anonymous source revealed in an interview with People Magazine that the Prince and Princess of Wales are already teaching George all about handling the enormous responsibility that he will have with the British people:
“I am sure [William and Kate] are making George aware in the best way they can. And not making it too burdensome.”
On top of that, another source claimed that William and Kate are raising their children to become excellent leaders and role models of the royalty. On George’s case, they want him to be conscious about his future but also letting him enjoy his childhood:
“William and Kate are doing the right thing, protecting him so he can have as normal childhood as possible, but he’s also dipping into duties as a future monarch. He’s getting firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a royal and a monarch and firsthand experience of being a normal boy.”
Prince George is currently enjoying his childhood without having to think about the burdens of the royalty. Despite this, that does not mean he is not already aware of the difficult task that he will have to carry out in a couple decades.
