After more than 12 years of relationship, the Colombian singer Shakira decided to end the relationship with her partner Gerard Pique with whom she had 2 children due to an alleged infidelity, which caused Shakira to express herself in the best way she knows how, music, but apparently, not everyone agreed and tried to prevent her from releasing songs against Pique’.

Shakira told Alejandra Espinoza in Paris that, they tried to stop her from releasing the song on the side of Bizarrap and revealed, “A lot of people around me and my team were telling me, ‘No, you’re not going to release that song, Shakira’.”

People close to the singer did not agree with the lyrics of this song and that’s why they asked her to make changes: “But what are you thinking? They told her, “You have to change the lyrics”.

However, despite the comments from her team and people close to her, she did not take her finger off the line: “And I said, ‘no, I am not an employee of the United Nations, a public servant. I am an artist and I have to express myself”.

Despite this, the singer released her music and it quickly became a hit.
