Many people were surprised to hear about the relationship that Tom Holland has with alcohol, since he is a very young actor who gives life to the incomparable Spiderman, but even he talked about how he has dealt with alcohol.
The actor discussed the facts to Jay Shetty for the podcast ‘On Purpose’, where he said how horrible it is to be immersed in such a lethal vice as alcohol. Tom said that it wasn’t until Christmas Eve, that he became aware of his addiction to liquor, and also revealed that he had made a promise to himself not to consume a single drop again for the entire month of January this year, which was a very difficult challenge.
“I couldn’t think of anything else but a drink. It was very scary, I said to myself: maybe I have a little problem with alcohol,” commented the actor and confessed that it was really hard to quit. But now, not only has he managed to get out of this dark world, but he also claims that he feels very proud of himself for having done it.
Without a doubt, the fact that he can accept it and come out victorious in the face of a problem like alcohol is worthy of admiration.
“I feel healthier, fitter,” Tom Holland said.
