A few months ago came to the stream world a peculiar documentary that had as protagonist Prince Harry and his wife, the American actress Meghan Markle, where they talked about the problems they lived in the palace and revealed many secrets of the crown, which quickly caused them the rejection of UK. Apparently, the bad news does not stop for the couple, since, apparently, they could not be nominated for the important Emmy awards with their documentary.
Royal author Ingrid Seward, has stated that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have “built a gilded cage of expectations around themselves that will be difficult to escape from,” so they will have to accept that the public’s attention for them is running out, as well as that of awards and organizations.
“In the series, Harry and Meghan talk about the royal family as if they were the enemy, while they themselves try to save the world with their experience within it.”
Ingrid claims that the problems the couple are having with their Archetypes brand, is a sign that people are not interested in anything Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have to say or do, unless it’s about “personal matters” and in this case, their attacks on the crown.
“They’re having a season of bad luck with their financial affairs. And as long as they keep concentrating on delivering stuff about their personal messes with the royals rather than more serious work, people will stop being interested. They’ve both built a gilded cage of expectations around themselves that will be hard to escape from.”
