Timothée Chalamet was ruled out for the “Barbie” movie

The director also expressed that one of her dreams was to see them both surrounded and dressed in pink in the world of Barbieland.

“I wanted to work with Timothée Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan because of the special bond I feel for them, I feel as if they were my own children, I am proud of them and all the triumphs they have been accumulating, but we will be left with the desire to make the special cameo I had in mind,” said the Barbie director.
