BTS’ Suga was able to successfully launch his career as a solo artist with his debut album ‘D-DAY’ which was met with a lot of critical acclaim. However, he recently admitted that he wants to go deeper into the world of psychology which led many of his fans, the so-called ARMY, to believe that he might be leaving the boy band soon.
Earlier this week, the South Korean group released a book titled ‘Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS’ to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their debut and the rapper’s declarations caught everyone by surprise. Suga revealed that studying psychology helped him in his musical career and it was one of his dreams before becoming an idol.
On top of that, Agust D mentioned that he wants to go deeper into the world of psychology and his declarations created a stir on social media among the ARMY. Currently, the fandom is split and debating whether this means that Suga might be thinking about leaving BTS in the future and start studying psychology or not.
Despite this, some of them are overlooking the fact that Suga clarified in the book that the reason why he wants to know more about psychology is to help idols who are just beginning in the K-Pop industry, also known as “Hoobaes.” It can be said that he wants to become a role model for them but that does not mean he will be leaving BTS.
