Prince William and Kate Middleton are currently getting a lot of praise for their willingness to help those in need and support different noble causes. As a result, their humility has made them two of the most beloved members of the Royal Family, and their future as the sovereigns of the United Kingdom looks promising.
It was recently revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales gave their full support to a charity song that pays homage to the late Deborah James who tragically passed away in 2022 after fighting bowel cancer. Recognized singer Natalie Rushdie, who was friends with Deborah, released a new version of ‘Tell Me It’s Not True’ in order to raise funds to help people who suffer from cancer.
Unsurprisingly, Prince William and Kate Middleton supported this noble cause. For example, William released a statement and shared some beautiful words for the Jazz singer in an interview with The Sun:
“Her legacy will be countless lives saved from bowel cancer. Dame Debs would be so proud. She inspired the nation. I’m wishing Natalie all the very best for her single release to raise money for such an important cause.”
On top of that, Natalie told People Magazine that she exchanged a few words with Kate about the fundraiser: “I personally thanked her and William for supporting Deborah and our song ‘Tell Me It’s Not True’, she said it was ‘amazing’ what we were doing and said it was ‘very important’ to William to give his support.”
