The British newspaper Daily Mail, through a source close to the former couple, has revealed that the reason for their separation was not caused by a third party in discord, as it was speculated in the last hours, but by alleged agreements that both had and that apparently stopped working in their relationship.

The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, told the newspaper that the interpreter of “La vida loca” would have maintained an open marriage with Yosef; that is, both he and her husband were allowed to relate physically with other people, and although for a long time this situation worked out well for them, the moment came when it stopped and everything ended:

“Like many couples, Ricky and Jwan had an open relationship for most of their marriage. This worked for them, until it stopped,” she said.

“Neither of them fell in love with someone else. Sex was something they engaged in together and separately, with other partners,” he added.
