When Prince Harry left the royal family, no one would imagine that the first thing he would do would be to talk about secrets and experiences of the crown in a highly viral space, as was the interview with Oprah Winfrey. Now it is known that Prince William was terrified before Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah.
According to what was revealed by Charlotte Griffiths, an editor-at-large of the Mail on Sunday, told last Tuesday to the British channel GB News, that the Prince of Wales felt terrified and stopped eating, missing days before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had the famous interview with Oprah Winfrey.
“I heard this for a long time from many different sources…, in the run-up to that Oprah interview, Prince William was literally sick with worry,” she claimed.
The editor claimed that Prince William “wasn’t eating and he became, not like a recluse, but he was definitely hiding.” The Prince of Wales would have hidden in a royal residence for a while to try to deal with the enormous anxiety he felt.
“What Kate was doing was supporting her man. Kate said, ‘I have to stand up for this guy and protect him. He’s being destroyed by this’ and that probably made her pretty tough, even though she has a reputation for being shy, but when it comes to protecting her husband, she will step in and protect him,” the journalist commented.
