Titan crew members experienced 48 seconds of horror before the submarine imploded

A few weeks ago the world was horrified by the news that an exclusive group of millionaires were about to lose their lives. A group headed for the wreckage of the Titanic lost complete communication with land, alarming and initiating a search as they had limited oxygen time. After days of suffering, the news was released that the crew members had perished. The Titan crew members experienced 48 seconds of horror before the submarine imploded.

The news went around the world, keeping all the people on board waiting for news of the submarine named Titan, which was going on a tour of the Titanic. Unfortunately, the crew of the Titan experienced 48 seconds of horror before the submarine imploded.

According to expert José Luís Martín, the Titan submersible had a major electrical failure that caused it to lose all stability, resulting in a deadly plunge to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

Explained gradually, Martin affirms that the submersible was descending calmly when, at about 1,700 meters deep in the ocean, it lost stability “due to an electrical failure” which caused it to fall rapidly to the bottom of the ocean in a vertical position, “as if it were a stone and without any control”, for about 900 meters until it finally imploded between 2,500 and 2,700 meters deep.

“The starting point is that the submarine is descending without any incidence and in a horizontal plane, until it reaches a depth of about 1,700 meters. At that point an electrical failure occurs. It is left without an engine and without propulsion. That’s when it loses communication with the Polar Price,” says Martín.

However, the expert points out that the submersible fell very fast until it ended up imploding, thanks to the weight of the 5 crew members, which could have turned into a scene of horror and screams that could have lasted about 48 seconds:

“The Titan changes position and falls like an arrow vertically, because the 400 kilos of passengers who were in the porthole decompensating the submarine. They all rush and crowd on top of each other. Imagine the horror, fear and agony. It had to be like a horror movie, I think it all happened between about 48 and 71 seconds of free fall”.

“In that period of time they are realizing everything. And in total darkness, too. It’s hard to get an idea of what they experienced in those moments. After those 48 seconds, or one minute, the implosion and instantaneous sudden death occurs,” explains the expert.
