Orlando Bloom makes controversial statements about his Lord of the Rings salary “I didn’t get anything”

One of the best sagas with an impressive number of fans, it is The Lord of the Rings, series which incredibly boosted the career of the actors who were present, including Orlando Bloom, but apparently, not everything is as wonderful as it seems as Orlando Bloom makes controversial statements about his salary in The Lord of the Rings “I received nothing”.

Based on the successful trilogy of books bearing the same name, The Lord of the Rings became an incredible reference in the film world, as it features masterful effects and performances, but, even so, the actors did not receive exhorbitant amounts of money as they do now.

Although the Lord of the Rings was one of the most successful fantasy trilogies in the world, the actor did not receive the salary that many people would think he deserved for his iconic role. The movie trilogy grossed as much as $2.993 billion at the box office, money that was not reflected in actor Orlando Bloom’s paychecks.

In an interview with Howard Stern, Orlando Bloom revealed that with all the money raised by the Lord of the Rings, the actor received nothing, only 175 thousand dollars as payment for 18 months of filming, being this a superminimum figure with all the money raised by this franchise; however, although he has had this problem, the actor does not regret having participated in these great films or having given life to a great character such as Legolas.
