The issue started because many people have questioned the new Superman played by David Corenswet, for being the ‘exact copy’ of Henry Cavill, and who could not believe that the directors would have dispensed with Henry’s performance in the reorganization of the franchise, to hire a person practically similar in terms of his physique, being a “younger carbon copy”.

The similarity in the two stars’ jaws, head, dark hair and piercing blue eyes were the main resemblances found by netizens.
