It has recently been revealed that it was Princess Kate Middleton who pressured her husband’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II to deny the accusations made by Meghan Markle, where she claimed that the royal family was racist towards her during her pregnancy.
According to a book, the scene in which Queen Elizabeth II denied all the accusations of racism was motivated much more by Kate Middleton, than by Prince William himself.
It should be recalled that in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had given harsh statements admitting that when Meghan Markle was pregnant with Prince Archie, the royal family was worried about the possible skin color of their son.
After this interview, Queen Elizabeth II had to give a statement denying all these rumors and according to Valentine Low‘s book, while everyone was discussing what speech to give, the phrase “memories may vary“, was one of the phrases that Kate Middleton pushed for the Queen to say in her speech, and with this she could deny, in part, all the rumors.
Clearly, this was not an apology for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who today are living with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the United States, away from the entire royal family and the controversy over the alleged rejection they suffered when they were royal members, mostly from Kate, Prince William and Queen Camilla Parker as reported by various media.
